I'm not sure if there are many more lunatics like myself that actually have such a large library of pwads for doom so it may be too much work to put in that much effort for a free game just so ppl can access the expansion packs. It looks like the dlauncher is the primary interface instead (meaning the main menu screen when you want to play it) I'm thinking that perhaps there's a way to incorporate 2.4.1 with the pwad functionality of the dlauncher and thus giving access to both the main iwad section and the pwad section on the main menu screen of 2.4.1. 2.3.1 had the older versions of both gzdoom & zdoom but the ini is not configured to make them run properly. I did a comparison between 2.3.1 and 2.4.1 and i noticed that both gzdoom & zdoom have been reprogrammed as seperate entities and the dlauncher has been discarded. I just have one question and maybe i'm missing something but how does one access the pwad section? i looked everywhere and i just cannot find it. So far the new url download source works and the game runs flawlessly. If it's a consistent problem,you may want to redirect the ini to download from another source.

It didn't work for me,but i could be mistaken. You may want to look at the url in the ini file where it's supposed to download the shareware iwad. since i had a program conflict,i erased it and did a clean install.(durr!) It works just fine except,like gzdoom,i can't access the pwads from the main interface (which sucks because i have a whole gig of pwad files).anyway it's a wonderfull engine! It has the smoothest frame rate i've ever seen,the graphics are brilliant,and all my codes work flawlessly.

At first it upgraded my existing install and disabled my launcher in the process. It's of no consequence since i already own the master iwad files so i just threw them into the folder. It's supposed to download the shareware doom board that the launcher is supposed to run but i cant download it. I tested the link and i get a 404 error code saying it cannot be located. The url in the ini files doesn't seem to exist online anymore. I tested the launcher on beta 2.0.4 and 2.0.5 platforms. Many thanks to TaffinFoxcroft for his previous work found here. This package also includes the ZDL launcher.

An upgrade will work but a clean install would be much better (WADS are now in Data).ДЇixed problem with PWAD directory (clean install required).

If you install the soundfont first, the two sound engine installers will find it & automatically be configured to use it. Messagebox now reports correct app at WarnAnotherInstance.ДЄdded FluidSynth, TiMidity4ZDoom & ВҐWeedsВҐ GM SoundFont plugins. On new installs & upgrades, downloaded WAD (DOOM1.WAD) is now set to Read-only. On new installs & upgrades, gl_cachenodes is now set to false as cached nodes are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%/zdoom.
